The event will be held at the Mediolanum Forum, an outstanding location that has already hosted the Italian National Pokémon Championship in the past.
Informations
Access to the venue will be allowed only to attendees who have properly registered online and to one designated guardian, just in the case the player is a minor or for proven medical needs. Players up to age 17 (inclusive) must be accompanied by a parent or supervisor. There is no admission for the general public.
In compliance with safety protocols related to COVID-19 of the Play! Pokémon, program, players over the age of 12 will be required to present proof that they have completed their vaccination cycle and they have to wear a FFP2 mask or higher type for the entire duration of the event. Everyone who takes part in the Pokémon Special Championship, including guardians, will receive a wristband and a badge when they check in on Saturday morning, June 4, both of which must be worn for the entire duration of the event.
In the outdoor area of the Mediolanum Forum there are several refreshment points, and it will not be allowed to consume food or drinks in the tournament hall.
A relax area that includes a charging point for consoles and smartphones will be available to players and guardians.

Registration
This special Pokémon Championship event is free and open to players of all ages and countries. Attendees will be divided among three age divisions: Junior (born in 2010 and later), Senior (born through 2006 and 2009 inclusive), and Master (born in 2005 or earlier).
In order to participate, player must have a Player ID, which can be obtained by registering a Training Club account on the official Pokémon website.
There will be 648 seats available among Pokémon Video Game and Pokémon Trading Card Game.

To ensure that all players can participate, available registration seats will be opened on RK9.gg in several waves:

Attention!
Players registered in the first and second waves must enter their Team List or Deck List (temporary, not definitive) with which they wish to participate in the tournament on RK9.gg by Thursday, May 26, 11.59 p.m. CEST otherwise the registration will be automatically cancelled and the seats will be available again.Then all players must submit their final Team List or Deck List by 7:30 a.m.CEST on Saturday 4th June
If you decide not to take part in the event anymore, please cancel your registration to make space for other players.
We recommend that all players set up their account on RK9.gg platform before the registration opening, in order to speed up the registration process for the tournament when entries become available. Underage players must have an account linked to a parent or guardian profile to complete the registration (it is not necessary to be the same person who will accompany the player to the event).

Prizes and formats
The tournament will follow the official Play! Pokémon. formats. Players will need to bring their valid 60-card deck or their copy of Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield along with their system from Nintendo Switch family, and a legal Pokémon. For more information, visit the official Pokémon website.
For players whit good results, there are plenty Championship Points that will gain them an invitation to the Pokémon World Championships along with exclusive prizes from the Pokémon Trading Card Game.

Schedule
Doors are scheduled to open at 8:00 a.m. CEST on Saturday, June 4, and at 8:30 a.m. CEST on Sunday, June 5. Players are expected to adhere to the schedule and show up at the designated check-in area in time.
The pairings will be available online through the RK9.gg platform and in the totems on site.

Players who didn’t make it to the final stages of the tournament can continue to have fun on Sunday, June 5, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.with a series of activities dedicated to them about Pokémon Trading Card Game and Video Game, with many exclusive gifts!

Safety
In compliance with the safety protocols of the Play! Pokémon Program related to COVID-19 players and any guardians are expected to follow a series of requirements and precautions:
- Attendees over the age of 18 (inclusive) will need to show documentation* to certify the completion of a World Health Organization-recognized, vaccination cycle, including a booster dose (third dose/booster);
- Attendees aged 12-17 years who have received only two doses of the vaccine may still participate in the events without providing documentation* regarding the booster dose (third dose/booster).
- Attendees under the age of 12 may attend events without needing to provide documentation* of the vaccine received.
*It is considered valid for control purposes the presentation of official certifications such as Green Pass / EU COVID digital certificate.
If players:
- over the age of 18 (inclusive) unable to receive the third dose (booster) because they contracted COVID-19;
- Hold a certificate of exemption from vaccination;
- Has unique reasons why they have not yet completed the vaccination cycle.
They will need to submit a specific event entry request to Play! Pokémon customer service through this page by May 28, 2022. Customer Service must also be notified of your Player ID so that it can be properly certified.
Players will be required to wear an FFP2 type mask or better (surgical/cloth not allowed) for the entire duration of the event, to sanitize their hands before facing opponents and to keep a safe distance of 1 meter (3 feet) from other people.
A rapid or molecular swab / test is not required to attend the event.
It is not allowed to consume food or beverages in the tournament room, but only in the dedicated areas outside the venue, where there are several refreshment points.

Any person who has or develops symptoms consistent with COVID-19 will not be allowed into the facility, regardless of whether or not they are vaccinated.
